GOALS

         The role of Academic Advising Portal Development is to achieve the University's educational mission. This portal provides advising in term of academics and other related issues pertain to students in this university. The primary goal of academic advising is to support students in developing personal, professional, and career goals that are challenging, and practical. Besides, this portal aims to builds a community of academic advising among students and advisors who help peers and students to achieve their vision and thus making progress for their future undertakings

The main objectives of the portal development are as follow :

        1. To create a community of academic advising among students in UPSI.

        2. To provide a channel of sharing problems related to academic matters             among the university students

        3. To offer an advising service to students in matters that related to their             personal life, careers, and socials so that they are able to face and             overcome the challenges

        4. To help the students receive the advising services facilities through online

        5. To create a "space of exercising" for capable students to become a peer             advisor through online and also creating a group of peer advisor             volunteers among academician
